Spectator Information

You don’t have to run a race to be a part of our the race day experience. The Berkeley Half Marathon encourages friends and family of runners and the Berkeley community to participate on race day. Your presence and encouragement makes a huge and meaningful impact on our runners on race day. From cheer locations to how to cheer on your runner all along the course, we hope the following information helps you prepare for race day.

Cheer Stations

Spectators are invited to cheer on our runners throughout the race course and at MLK and Channing. Sports Basement Cheer Station.

Course Entertainment and Cheer Station Application

We welcome individuals or groups of performers who have a proven track record of engaging, interactive public performances. We also invite unique and eye-catching cheer station ideas for groups of 10 to 30 people. Each selected group will be designated a performance area along our 13.1-mile race route. If you or your group wishes to perform on the course or create a cheer station, please click here.
