Mile 11 begins a steady climb from the waterfront to the finish line with just over 200 feet of elevation gain over the final three plus miles. Mile 11 begins by taking runners back along the Berkeley Marina and over the highway to University Ave. While this section of University is somewhat more industrial, it does house a number of restaurants and fitness studios. After the race or a training run runners can enjoy a pint at the Sierra Nevada Torpedo Room just one block off of University Ave. on Addison Street. With over 16 Sierra Nevada beers on tap and a comfortable neighborhood environment stop by for a drink and a bite to eat.

Runners make their way down Sixth St. and then Addison St. on their way to Seventh St. before a quick drink at Water Stop 6 just before the end of Mile 11.
